About the Design
Sarek is a celebration of one of Sweden's most remarkable landscapes. Emelie Ek has interpreted the forests, mountains and wildlife of Sarek National Park through a series of stylised illustrations that are rich in detail yet beautifully balanced.
Rather than depicting a single scene, the design captures the feeling of the landscape itself—vast, peaceful and deeply connected to nature. The reversible jacquard weave reveals two complementary interpretations of the pattern, allowing the intricate details and expert craftsmanship to be appreciated from either side.
