About the Design

Lake in the Valley is a quiet celebration of the Scandinavian landscape. Rather than depicting a specific place, Akira Minagawa creates an atmosphere—peaceful water, wooded hills and birds drifting across the lake. His hand-drawn style simplifies the landscape into elegant forms, encouraging the eye to wander and discover new details with every glance.

The reversible jacquard weave presents two complementary interpretations of the same scene, allowing the beauty of the design and the craftsmanship of the weave to be appreciated from either side.

Why Choose Lambswool?

Lambswool comes from a sheep's first shearing, making it one of the finest and softest natural fibres available. Naturally breathable and temperature regulating, it provides exceptional warmth without unnecessary weight. Soft, durable and renewable, it's a fibre that's treasured for its lasting comfort and timeless appeal.
