About the Design
Akira Minagawa's work is known for finding beauty in everyday moments, and House in the Forest is a perfect example. Nestled amongst stylised trees, the small house becomes part of the landscape rather than dominating it, creating a design that's calm, thoughtful and full of quiet detail. The reversible jacquard weave offers two complementary interpretations of the design, each highlighting the artistry of the weave.
About Klippan’s Recycled Wool
Klippan’s recycled wool is recovered entirely from its own textile production. Fibres from the carding process and surplus yarn from the looms are carefully collected and returned to the manufacturing cycle rather than being discarded.
Because the reclaimed wool brings together naturally mixed shades, it creates yarns with subtle variations and added depth. Used alongside carefully selected lambswool, it forms a beautiful, durable textile without compromising the quality or character of the finished blanket.
