Known as gåsöga in Swedish the Goose Eye pattern is one of the best-known traditional weaves in Scandinavian textiles, admired for its simple geometric structure and enduring appeal. Its balanced design adds gentle texture and visual interest while remaining understated enough to suit both contemporary and traditional interiors.
The addition of recycled wool brings subtle variations in tone to the yarn, giving each production batch its own unique character. Klippan's recycled wool throws are made using carefully recovered wool fibres collected during the weaving process, giving valuable natural materials a second life. Because the blend of fibres varies from one production run to the next, no two batches are ever exactly the same.
This means the colours and subtle flecks within the weave may differ slightly from the product photographs. Rather than a flaw, it's part of the beauty of recycled wool. Each throw has its own unique character, making every piece truly one of a kind.

Care Guide
Wool naturally resists dirt and odours, so frequent washing is rarely necessary. Simply air your throw regularly to keep it fresh.
Machine wash 30 degrees, Wool program only, Wash separately, Iron at medium temperature, Do not tumble dry, Do not use bleach.
The recycled wool fibres are collected from pre-consumer fibres and scraps that have been discarded during the cut and sew process. It can be anything from wool from the carding machine, to yarn threads from the weaving loom. The fibres are broken down and spun into new yarns. This process requires less energy to make and conserves natural resources; small things that can make a big difference!
