There's a particularly sweet idea behind Hand in Hand.
Bitte Stenström has created a row of stylised little owls standing side by side and holding hands. The motif is intended to represent closeness and security – an especially fitting sentiment for a blanket designed to keep a little one warm and comfortable.
The owls themselves are wonderfully simple, reduced to rounded shapes and graphic details rather than conventional children's illustrations. Against the soft taupe background, the repeating pattern feels playful but beautifully restrained.
