About the design
Dino brings one of children's favourite subjects to a beautifully simple Scandinavian design.
A collection of dinosaurs marches across the blanket, their distinctive shapes creating a playful repeating pattern against the green background.
Bitte Stenström's pared-back illustration style keeps the design cheerful without becoming overly busy or cartoon-like. It's unmistakably a children's blanket, but with the clean graphic quality that characterises Klippan's Scandinavian textile designs.
And, of course, for any child who goes through a dinosaur phase, Dino is likely to need very little introduction.
Why choose lambswool?
Lambswool comes from the first shearing of a young sheep and is prized for its softness, warmth and natural insulating properties.
The wool used in Klippan's lambswool blankets comes from New Zealand wool growers licensed under Wool Integrity NZ™, a programme with standards covering animal welfare, environmental responsibility and traceability. This includes a requirement that sheep are not mulesed. Klippan's blankets are also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning they have been tested for harmful substances.
Naturally breathable and temperature regulating, wool provides warmth without unnecessary weight – making it particularly well suited to blankets for babies and young children.
