About the design
Deer brings Bengt & Lotta's distinctive graphic style to a classic woodland theme.
Stylised deer with their wonderfully simple shapes characterise so much of the Swedish design duo's work. The repeated motif gives the blanket plenty of detail and character without making it feel overly busy.
Against the soft powder-pink background, the woodland pattern has a particularly gentle quality – playful enough for a child's room, but with the clean Scandinavian styling that makes it easy to live with elsewhere in the home too.
It's a lovely example of Bengt & Lotta's ability to bring warmth, humour and personality to Scandinavian design.
Why choose lambswool?
Lambswool comes from the first shearing of a young sheep and is prized for its softness, warmth and natural insulating properties.
The wool used in Klippan's lambswool blankets comes from New Zealand wool growers licensed under Wool Integrity NZ™, a programme with standards covering animal welfare, environmental responsibility and traceability. This includes a requirement that sheep are not mulesed. Klippan's blankets are also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning they have been tested for harmful substances.
Naturally breathable and temperature regulating, wool provides warmth without unnecessary weight – making it particularly well suited to blankets for babies and young children.
