Sörmland 130 x 180cm Lambswool Blanket
Inspired by the rich textile traditions of Sweden's Södermanland region, Sörmland is a beautifully colourful wool blanket designed by Kerstin Landström. Bands of intricate floral and geometric patterns in warm ochre, rust, olive green and soft blue create a design full of character, celebrating the beauty of traditional Swedish craftsmanship.
Woven from 100% OEKO-TEX® certified lambswool, this generously sized 130 × 180cm blanket offers natural warmth and softness. Its wonderfully detailed pattern brings colour and texture to a favourite armchair, sofa or bedroom, combining centuries-old inspiration with timeless Scandinavian design.
About the Design
Sörmland takes its inspiration from the traditional folk costumes of Vingåker and Österåker in Södermanland, Sweden. These remarkable costumes have preserved their distinctive appearance for more than 300 years, with beautifully embroidered bodices, aprons and decorative belts.
Kerstin Landström has drawn on their intricate patterns and rich colours to create a contemporary wool blanket that celebrates Sweden's remarkable textile heritage.
Why Choose Natural Lambswool?
Lambswool is naturally warm, breathable and wonderfully insulating, offering comforting warmth without unnecessary weight. Its natural fibres help regulate temperature, making it ideal for cosy evenings throughout the year.
Sörmland is woven from 100% New Zealand lambswool sourced through Wool Integrity NZ™, supporting responsible wool production and animal welfare. The finished blanket is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified and beautifully made to be enjoyed for years to come.

Care
Wool is dirt-repellent and has a self-cleaning property, which means that you should not wash the blanket too often or unnecessarily. It does well if it is aired regularly, preferably in damp weather. The blanket can be washed with wool detergent by hand or on a wool program at 30 degrees.
However, we recommend dry cleaning, as large blankets can become heavy in the machine and risk losing their shape.
