About the design
Designed by Swedish design studio Edholm Ullenius, Balloon is a wonderfully imaginative pattern featuring little explorers setting off on adventures in their hot-air balloons.
The soft pink and rust colour palette keeps the design gentle and understated, while the tiny figures and balloons give children plenty to discover.
Playful without feeling overly babyish, it's a lovely Scandinavian design that can accompany a little one from those first pram journeys through to story time and snuggling up at home.
Why choose recycled wool & lambswool?
Balloon combines 50% recycled wool with 50% lambswool, bringing together the natural warmth of wool with a thoughtful approach to making the most of this valuable material.
Klippan's recycled wool is made using wool left over from its own production. Rather than allowing these fibres to go to waste, they are given new life in new blankets and throws. Because the recycled fibres available can vary between production runs, there may be subtle variations in colour – something Klippan regards as part of the individual character of its recycled wool products.
Wool is naturally breathable and insulating, providing warmth without unnecessary weight and making it particularly well suited to a small blanket that's likely to travel between home, pram and car.
